Villa Tasca is located in Palermo,Sicily, in a 20 acre park full of citrus orchards and majestic century-old trees.
The Villa was originally built in the 1500ds, the oasis which protects it is one of Sicily's most emblematic Victorian-era Romantic gardens.
It is completely surrounded by the lush romantic garden. It is laid out on two floors, with inviting bedrooms and frescoed reception halls. Two terraces open onto the park and botanic garden. The large and well-lit interiors are characterized by pastoral frescoes and tile-work that transmit that same balance of liveliness and serenity found in the garden inside the Villa.
The Villa offers their clients the possibility of organizing small-and large tailor-made events; providing the historic residence and garden, wedding guests are received in that same refined and comfortable Piano Nobile and garden, and after the celebration the couple can stay in the oldest and most beautiful room in the Villa.
Since 1808, some of the Villa's guests have been: King Ferdinand of the House of Bourbon-Two Sicilies and Queen Maria Carolina, Otto van Bismarck, Queen Margherita of Savoy, and Jaqueline Kennedy.
Here, Wagner was a guest of the Villa's for some time and even composed the third act of Parsifal here. Verdi, Paganini, Rubinstein, Benedetti Michelangeli, and Claudio Abbado have also been guests of the Villa.
